Easy Italian Chicken Sausage Pasta
Ingredients (2–3 servings)

3–4 chicken sausage links

8 oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, or spaghetti)

2 tbsp beef tallow or olive oil
-
3 cloves garlic (minced)
-
1 cup marinara sauce (jarred is fine)
-
½ cup pasta cooking water (important!)
-
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt & black pepper
-
Parmesan cheese
-
Fresh basil or parsley (optional)
Step 1 — Cook pasta

Boil salted water.

Cook pasta until al dente.

Save ½ cup pasta water before draining.
Step 2 — Brown sausage

Slice sausages into coins.

Heat pan medium heat with beef tallow.

Cook sausage 4–5 minutes until golden.
Browning = big flavor.
Step 3 — Build the sauce

Add garlic and chili flakes; cook 30 seconds.

Pour in marinara sauce.

Add splash of pasta water.

Simmer 3–5 minutes.
Step 4 — Finish

Add drained pasta directly into sauce.

Toss until coated and glossy.

Add more pasta water if needed (makes sauce silky).
Step 5 — Serve
