Our Favorite Recipe:

Crispy Chicken Wings (Oven Method — Better Than Fried)

These come out super crispy outside and juicy inside using beef tallow — no deep fryer needed.


Ingredients (2–3 lb wings)

  • Chicken wings (split if possible)

  • 2 tbsp beef tallow (melted)

  • 1½ tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tbsp baking powder ⭐ (NOT baking soda)


 Step 1 — Dry = crispy

  1. Pat wings VERY dry with paper towels.

  2. Moisture prevents crispiness.


Step 2 — Season

  1. Toss wings with beef tallow.

  2. Mix spices + baking powder.

  3. Coat wings evenly.

👉 Baking powder changes skin pH and makes it blister crispy.


Step 3 — Bake (key technique)

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Place wings on a rack over a baking sheet.

  3. Bake 45–50 minutes, flipping halfway.

Skin should look deep golden and crackly.


Step 4 — Sauce (optional)

After baking, toss in:

Buffalo

  • ¼ cup hot sauce

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Garlic Parmesan

  • Butter + garlic + parmesan

Honey BBQ

  • BBQ sauce + honey
